in the 37 years i have been on this earth i have amassed a certain about of knowledge &(still learning almost every day).i believe strongly that knowledge should be PASSed on & not hoarded!!! a large percentage of my KNOWLEDGE is general,but i have saved a big chunk for the more specialized subjects i enjoy (see interests opposite) these make up some of the things i would like to share with you (IN BLOG FORM) if you like any posts,feel free to SUBSCRIBE. that way you get notified every time a new post comes up. also don't forget to use the new/old archive too view past blogs... hope you enjoy!!!!comments welcome.... the don...also............ "HERE'S A LITTLE STORY THAT MUST BE TOLD"............................hi,my name is roger.....i'am a cheeky northerner who like's a laugh.....i was an original uk b-boy in the early 8t's. started 2 collect hip hop records then & never stopped!!!!!!!!!!i hav pretty much stopped the breakdancing though!!!!unless i'am pissed at a wedding & then,it's probably just my bones(that do the breakin)!he he......anyway...... i was the founder member of the b-boy crew called (friction feet)u may of heard of us??????? i also did a bit of graffiti in the 80's,under the tag "ramjet"(hummm!how long did that take me 2 think up!!!!)lol.........still love the art,but gave that up 2!!!!!as i wasn't that good at rackin up(stealin spray paint)........so just stuck with the music....... i started off making pause button tapes as i couldn't afford turntables until was 22! but through hip hop,i started 2 look for the originals,that made up the beats.and so began the love affair with soul,funk,jazz & disco....... then in 87-88 "let there b house & house music was born" when i left school i became a fully qualified chef but packed that in,as it interfeared with all the raving in the late 8t's & early 9t's......... i use 2 tear up the dance floors at places like the hacienda,blackburns illegal wharehouse rave's,park hall,set end,quadrant park,shaboo,oz,sequins,revenge,smile,cream + many others. had quite a good rep 4 my moves(usher,jay kay & timberlake hav all stolen from me)!!!!! so bein a dancer first & foremost,it has given me the knowledge of what tracks work best on the floor.... i moved 2 london 12 years ago.....hav djed in bars & clubs in & around the south east + also worked on a pirate radio station...... for the most part i'am a bricklayer foreman (with a big record collection)but not 4 long!!!! as i'am moving 2 kent 2 open up my very own record shop/coffee bar!!woo hoo,i can't wait.
