I live in the suburbs of Minneapolis/St Paul. I am Married to a most metal musician and my best friend, Don Volk since June 6th of 2006. Yes , thats right, I got Married on 6-6-6!I work in Accounts Receivable full time and Bartend part time for extra cash. I have a beautiful Daughter named Shyann. I have spent alot of time networking in the industry and making some very good friends. I WAS the Official Midwest Correspondent for MetalFury.Com. I have a soft spot for charities and am a board member of the Shakopee Jaycees in my community. I love the midwest and hope people get a chance to visit and take in the good life that I love here. I love to travel especially to my husbands hometown in Long Island , New York. NYC Rules!I have a zero tolerance policy for pretentiousness. I hate overinflated egos and the drama that goes along with them. Life is hard, get a helmet. Pity Partiers need not contact me for any reason. If you want something in this life, you have to work hard and you can have it without shitting on people to get there. I am not and will never be, a victim. I place a great value on friendships that are brutally honest and respectful. If you want my opinion and ask for it, you will get it with no bullshit! I'd expect no less from my true friends. I have a hard time understanding people who proliferate in their own misery. I have relationships with people who are so co-dependent they do not know their own worth. The truth hurts and it should. Every mistake made is a lesson learned should you choose to recognize it. My goal in life is to do unto others and learn from every person who touches my life as well as teach what I have learned to those willing to listen. To quote greatness: "Stand and Fight, Live by your Heart, There's always one more try, I'm not afraid to Die!"Metal is not a phase, it is a way of life. Some of the friendships I have made because of my passion for the genre are as valuable to me as family. I have so much to learn from these dynamic people and am constantly blown away at how smart people into Heavy Metal are! The loyalty and honesty I have experienced are priceless! I look forward to the future and experiencing Life to its fullest potential!
