My Interests



i'm christopher and i'm 28. i go to school a lot and learn about ancient civilizations and take a lot of notes. i am interested in the sciences, quantum physics and theories about relativity, string theory and watching nasa tv and nova on public broadcasting. i like adelle. i love rad racing and cru jones is my hero. i love to spend time in art museums. cai guo kiang is my favorite artist. i count my breaths and meditate a lot. i spend a lot of time recording with pro tools hd and run castle bitchin studios where i record bands and am learning to write scores for crazy horror movies. i used to be a deadmandisco, and now i play guitar and sing in bitchin summer and breathe fire with led and the boys and rachel, so tour tour tour. i love jazz and r&b music and doing beats on old drum machines from the eighties. i grew up in santa cruz california and now i live in ne portland in the mississippi district with led and jones at the bitchin summer pad. i love visiting seattle and i love living in portland and hiking in the columbia gorge and exploring dark forests filled with amazing waterfalls and big bears. the rivers in the northwest are so amazing and i love swimming in the coldest water ever. i sit around and think about all the sweet places left to visit in europe that i need to go. i go to powells books and read travel guides a lot. i want to learn to knit sweet beanie disguises for all my friends, im trying to read stitch and bitch. as it stands rachel can hem everything and i stare at her sewing machine and wish i could do what she does, abacus. i love jujitsu, kungfu, taekwondo and spinning roundhouse kicks. i love long sits in sweathouses and laying in oregons natural hot springs. i hate stuff that sucks, and love pop punk a lot. i like stumptown coffee, french pressed, and cute girls. i enjoy going to barnes and nobles in lloyd mall and reading science magazines and the new AP, now that's a good time.

I spend countless hours reading on theravaden buddhism and other buddhist practices. I practice theravaden buddhism and vipassana meditation. i like to visit abhaya giri, a theravaden monastery in redwood valley, ca. and that's dhamma for your momma. I love emergency medical services, ambulances and emergency rooms, nord leads and samplers, mini moogs and drum machines, ghost towns, inverted power chords, delay pedals, and anything ampeg on a gibson les paul. i love seagull tattoos and the eighties. i love canada and the san juan islands, plotting points, and traveling.
