Against The Stream Buddhist Meditation Society is the name we have chosen for
our non-profit organization and the working name of our NEW MEDITATION
CENTER.As of now we are the the occupants and lease holders at-
4300 Melrose (btw Heliotrope and Vermont)
Los Angeles Ca 90029We will start meditation classes on Wed Feb 20th at the center I hope to see you all
there.
Weds 730 pm bring a friend, its a big room. This will be an ongoing class.We will have an informal work day on Sat Feb 16th from 11am- 5pm please come
down and check it out and see what we can get started.On Sat Feb 23rd we have a Visioning and Community Organization Day
( This will be an opportunity to get involved, to help us create the place as we as a
community want it to be)In the mean time, drive by and check it out. get excited, tell some friends that this
happening and think about how you would like to be involved in the creation
process, including what you can offer, if anything. We are in need of some
furniture ( desks, chairs, bookshelves, rugs, cushions lighting fixtures,
computers..etc) we have a wish list and it will be posted at the center for people to
