Seattle Dharma Punx

About Me

Seattle Dharma Punx is a peer-led meditation group. We offer a casual space to meditate in community, explore Buddhist teachings, and share personal experience. The name Dharma Punx, coined by author and Buddhist teacher Noah Levine, stands for an international crew of counterculture individuals willing to look within their own hearts and minds for a path through the fear and confusion that comes with being human. Wisdom, compassion, kindness, and generosity aka freedom is the alternative and we all have the ability to attain it.
We meet every Sunday night from 7:00-8:30pm at All Pilgrim's church on Broadway & Republican on Capitol Hill (not affiliated, just rent the space). Enter at the back door on 10th ave and follow the signs up the steps and down the hall. The church keeps the door locked, so someone stands post until 7:00 and then, if you're late, you'll have to get buzzed in. Parking is an opportunity to practice patience so if you're driving, give yourself time to circle the neighborhood.
Seattle DPx is donation based and all are welcome.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

You. Bring yourself. Bring a cushion. Bring a friend full of greed, hatred, and delusion.
