After alot of work and shows our Album "Time and Tide" is on the streets. Available upon request and at Music Millenium.
We, Higher Than Mah will continue to take over the world 1 bar at a time.
Backline Records, a label by the artists for the artists was kind enough to make us a paert of their crew. Now Higher Than Mah is poised to make a big move twoards relentless show playing and self promoting. I have always found it hard to brag about my oun creation, it is what it is and if we didn't think it was kick ass we wouldn't play it. That being said the second reason in a short list of why we rock is, you yes thats right with no fans there is no band and we are 100% loyal to our fan base. Have somthing to say about our set, songs or just that our clothes clash, say it.
Now all the real Bio stuff: Mike Smith is our lead singer and guitar player, this readhead knows how to work a stage and write some catchy tunes. He runs Suberbia Studios as his day gig and is our major art contributer. Jake Sandine fills the Bass playing spot quite well, somtimes he puts us to shame. Jake came to us by way of Iowa and dispite his mellowness listens and plays some super stompin music, he is also a key figure in maintaining band peace (too mant chefs in the kitchen) Pat Brewer is the man on the drums and he sure is killer at it (and everything else). Pat has been the Driving force behind Backline Records and is the resident hippy at Portland Music. Despite his amazing ability on te guitar we force him to play drums. and Phil St John is the second guitar guy and all around weirdo. Phil is from the desert and is cranky, but he writes good songs so we keep him around. Together they not only form Voltron but the unstopable beast known as Higher Than Mah.
