this is a venue. it's incarnation of vamps is fairly recent. it was once the west toledo masonic temple, a DIY music venue started by people who believed in Toledo and put on some great shows in the past. Some of those shows include, streetlight manifesto, ex models, q and not u, black eyes, dance disaster movement, hot cross, between the buried and me, ed gein, koufax, planes mistaken for stars, xbxrx, xiu xiu, and countless others.
now this venue is called "vamps" as it got a liquor license and some money behind it. we are always looking for the best in local and national music, whether it be bands or djs. i promise things will be more in order with time. if you would like to book a show contact one of our promoters in whatever most fits your type of show. lots of neat things are happening now, we even have a kitchen that is open all night long, so you can eat, whenever i supose. three floors of different types of music are coming soon, updates will be on here as soon as everything is sorted out. please excuse our website as we are having webmaster complications, hopefully this will be sorted out soon. please spread the word on these shows, it's always a fun time and never be afraid to put on your own show by contacting Bill via the event line.
