Klara Kjellén

I am glad to have released my first album "Under your skin" on the German record label JOPREC. It was recorded with my band Klara Kjellén Sextet at Gula Studion (Malmö/Sweden) and it contains newly written music by me.

The band was formed in 2003 and has released two EP:s.
Aspects of jazz (2003) and Aircrafts (2005).
I have released a Musicvideo/DVD "Happy Street" on my own label DARK GREEN RECORDS wich will be one of the songs on my next album with different musicians mostly from London. Happy Street is more a music collective then a set number of musicians. I collaborate with a variety of musicians to create the music of my dreams. If you want to collaborate do not hesitate to contact me. New people are always welcome to live on Happy Street.
The music was recorded by John Conlon at World Studios and the Video was shooted at the cineama Panora in Malmö, Sweden. Songs from this Ep has also been the music theme for the Swedish film “Ska vi hångla först” [ Eric Varde ].
HAPPY STREET plays sweet POP and has a dream of living at a street where everyone is Happy. We have been there once just to visit! We want to go there again!
All the wallpapers have a sent of a cottage in the country side and the lamps are a little bit dusty but the early summer light that slips in through the window makes us happy.
