THE POP LEAGUE started out as a way to promote some artists I originally met in Garageband.com in 2006. After I discovered they all had MySpace sites, I thought it would be fun to band together on an alternate site, dub it The Pop League, and see if we could find and share fans.....
I wanted to create something "bigger" than us individually, strength in numbers, etc...Now there are 42 artists in The Pop League! Since I could not have one massive site, due to MySpace limitations, I have divided it up in 10 sites, or what I call "Rooms", where 3, 4 or 5 artists have one song each, with links to their home sites.
Originality, authenticity, unique vocals, signature songs, and that "x" factor, all are part of The Pop League world. I need to be a fan first, before inviting anyone in. And the goal is still the same: to expand our fanbase across the UK, USA, Australia, Scandinavia, New Zealand, Netherlands, Canada....I have meet some great people from this alliance, and many of these artists will surely go on to much bigger things...The talent is there. It is just a matter of luck, and timing! So, WAKE UP Music Industry, and check out The Pop League!

THE LE BROCKS (Godalming, UK) This energetic UK trio have an exciting post-punk/pop sound and are following through with stellar songs. DAYSTAR (UK) distinguish themselves with brilliant songs. Their debut of "SWITCHBACK" is a real jewel...Simon Monaghan's vocals are soulful, pristine, meloncholy, and don't need a lot of flourish. SUPER 8 (Scotland, UK) recorded a fantastic debut album DAYSAVER". He has been a big influence on me to go more "acoustic", just by listening to his album. I am his biggest fan. A literal one man high achiever and true believer is folk rock/pop rock/psychedelic rock/rock/rock. The artist who calls himself "Trip" offers up this swell song "GRAVITY SWINGS" (from DAYSAVER).
