The usual suspects ... the Beatles (wow, how obscure), Keith Richards and his group, the Kinks, Neil Young, Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, the Replacements, R.E.M., the Velvet Underground, Townes Van Zandt, Emmy Lou Harris, Vic Chesnutt, Lucinda Williams, Lisa Hannigan, Damien Rice, Elliott Smith, Drive-By Truckers, the original Alice Cooper band, Donovan ... oh yeah, and Wilco, Son Volt, Jay Farrar, Uncle Tupelo, Blue Mountain, etc.

Movies:

The Royal Tenenbaums, The Life Aquatic, The Big Sleep, The Magnificent Ambersons ... pretty much any movie whose title begins with the word "the." Films by "The" Coen Brothers.

Television:

Conan, The Daily Show, Austin City Limits, The Office ... never have been able to make the commitment to any 1 hour dramas though I have been trying to follow Lost. My brother and I were really into Hogan's Heros in high school for some reason.
