About Me

This profile was edited with MySpace Profile Editor MySpace Profile Editor
I am a crafty, artsy chica in San Antonio, Texas. I paint, bead, and work with polymer clay.
I was always an artsy kid. I painted and made friendship bracelets, bows and barrettes. Every Christmas I made new ornaments for my parents tree. Then I went to college and got busy with "life".
However, I never lost that need to create. As time passed, I had a "quarterlife crisis" and I began to crave an outlet. In February 2005 I gave up boys for Lent (seriously!!), and discovered polymer clay. Since then I have just fallen in love with the versatility of it. I made so much stuff and other people seemed to like so La Geek Girl Designs was born.
I have since participated in craft fairs in my city and been commissioned to make various pieces for family and friends and the occasional online shopper. I gave myself a creative outlet and then decided to take it a step further by starting my own small and humble business.
All of my designs are hand crafted. I have some featured items for sale, and I am taking orders.
LaGeekGirlDesigns.com is on its way!
Please feel free to contact me through Myspace!
You can also contact me at [email protected] for more information on particular pieces or to discuss placing an order.
You scored as Cultural Creative.

Cultural Creatives are probably the newest group to enter this realm. You are a modern thinker who tends to shy away from organized religion but still feels as if there is something greater than ourselves. You are very spiritual, even if you are not religious. Life has a meaning outside of the rational.

Heroes:

Mi Madrecita

All men and women are born, live suffer and die; what distinguishes us one from another is our dreams, whether they be dreams about worldly or unworldly things, and what we do to make them come about... We do not choose to be born. We do not choose our parents. We do not choose our historical epoch, the country of our birth, or the immediate circumstances of our upbringing. We do not, most of us, choose to die; nor do we choose the time and conditions of our death. But within this realm of choicelessness, we do choose how we live.
