Apparently this is an ad for a brand of yogurt in Brazil. Looking at the ad, you’d think it's celebrating the fuller figure. Unfortuinately, not at all. The tagline of the ad translates to:
"Forget about it. Men's preferences will never change. Fit Light Yogurt."
More often than not images speak louder than words. I think they do this time. The ad campaign didn’t mean to make these big women look attractive, but look closer at these pictures. Imaginative settings with women styled, lit and photographed well, each showing that they are very sexual beings. The ad agency hopes men’s preferences will never change, but I can guarantee that some men say “no fat chicksâ€, but will look at these pictures and think.....
“Hey......these fat chicks don’t look like ‘fat chicks’........they’re.......kind of......hot....â€
