HELLO! And THANK YOU for visiting my page. This forum is my little **soapbox**, it is a way for me to express my thoughts and feelings. I try to keep it interesting and I try to have multiple links to various sites for those who want to learn more about a particular topic. I invite you to browse all of my page and blogs and I hope that you find something that you enjoy.
ABOUT ME: I am a single, professional girl. I work really hard and work a lot - love my job selling homes. The vegan diet really works for me, I love the food and I love animals, so I choose to not eat them. Plus, I think the food is absolutely YUMMY! I LOVE and prefer organic food! I have great friends, a great family, and the most perfect dogs ever! Just got into yoga recently and wonder why I didn't do it sooner, it is the best workout, especially the Power Yoga at At One Yoga! I Have lived in Arizona all my life and love to visit San Diego as often as possible.
I am on myspace for a couple of reasons - MY FIRST REASON is to connect with other animal lovers for networking/activism and friendship. My focus on this site is NOT dating. Please understand what my profile is "about" and please feel free to e-mail me or request to be my friend if you feel the same way that I do about life, spirituality and/or animals.
Please only send me ADVERTISING friend requests, if your product is BOTH cruelty free, organic, or something that you feel I would be interested in promoting based on reading my page.
And, also no BANDS if you are just accumulating friends, because I am just way too busy to weed through those types. If you are a band that is into - vegan, animals, spiritual, organic, etc - then feel free!
MY SECOND REASON AND MORE IMPORTANT REASON is for those who are curious and have questions or want more information. I am more than happy to answer any questions you many have about veg diet or animals, just send me an e-mail, and also send a friend request because I try to update my page regularly, that way you can link back to me to see what's new.
AND LASTLY, MY THIRD REASON is for those who are of the opposite opinion or who disagree with me. I completely am open to welcome your comments and questions, but only if you do not verbally attack me, but be civil. I feel that everyone has a right to their beliefs and I would love to hear from you.
I do not mean to sound rude, but I am getting e-mails and friend requests that I do not understand bc there is no common interest nor any questions about my stance - they just say "hi" or "nice pics" - what?? I think they are a random attempt for either, 1. booty hook-ups (you won't get that here), or 2. to have the most friends to look "popular" (don't - I don't have the time).

If it is very upsetting to you, as it was to me, appreciate the knowledge that you have now learned and then let it go. I am vegan, and I try to focus on my diet being about "peace". I don't focus on the abuse and suffering because I would cry all day long, although that is the reason I becam vegan initially. Now my diet and lifestyle choices are about feeling healthy, compassionate and peaceful.

** INTERESTS - STANDING UP FOR ANIMAL RIGHTS:

Oh dear, I am having a hard time keeping my mind focused on the positive and not being consumed with the negative when it comes to this issue, Covance. The best thing I can do is try to think of "protecting Chandler and it's values".

Fur is really horrific, I know. Again, educate yourself and do not dwell or remain is a state of anger and sadness(very hard to do), you will only be adding to the problem by sending out your anger. Be thankful that you have learned about how fur is really harvested, and be thankful that you will **never** wear fur again. Share your knowledge, don't attack - I wore fur just as recently as 2.5 years ago, I did not know, I had NO idea what I was really wearing. A lot of times, people have no idea, so please don't assume that everyone is wearing fur to be cruel or on purpose - share your knowledge, educate, help people make better choices.

** INTERESTS - PROTECTING INNOCENT ANIMALS:
Bully Breed dogs have the capacity to be very sweet and loving dogs! :) See the picture of my brother's dog, Chloee, on my "pictures page" with her good friend, Paris the kitty cat! She has another good friend, Stormy the kitty cat who is not in the picture. They all three sleep together and play together because my brother raised his dog to be loving and sweet! All Chloee ever wants is to play, cuddle and have belly rubs!

God made me for you to love and care for, and to bring joy and companionship to your life. Don't I look so very cute? Don't you just want to kiss me?

THIS IS SO PRECIOUS! Animals have emotions, and want companionship just like we do.

**** NOTE: I DO NOT ENJOY LISTENING TO BEYONCE KNOWLES OR JENNIFER LOPEZ, because of their insistance of using fur in their clothing lines. Both women have been informed of the saddening horrors of fur and both have made a choice to continue to use fur. I will turn the channel if ever they are on the radio, because I find their songs and voices to be saddening and disturbing. P. Diddy also has fur in his clothing line, so same thing, I avoid being a supporter.****

Movies:

Love to go to the movies! Love to rent movies! Don't have a favorite, but Titanic makes me cry everytime. I don't like horror flicks, cuz they make me afraid of the dark! :( I don't like those karate, tough-guy, action flicks. Some that I have enjoyed: Titanic, Shawshank Redemption, K Pax, Clueless and Blast From the Past (both with Alicia Silverstone - adorable), Last of the Mohicans, Along Came Polly, Always, Liar Liar, Forest Gump, City of Angels, Meet the Parents, Coming to America (I think I have seen this 30 times, hilarious!), A Beautiful Mind, The Green Mile (although I only watched this once and cried so hard I won't watch it again).

PEACEFUL WARRIOR - This is a great movie and it is a true story!
BEYOND CLOSED DOORS is a brand new movie! Their site is www.sandgrainfilms.com. It is about factory farming practices vs. free range farming and there is a lot of good political information. It is not gruesome or horrifying, anyone could watch it. Good job, Kari! I want your autograph!

Television:

House & Grey's Anatomy. I like to watch a silly Friends episode after a trying day at work! I try to keep the TV turned OFF as much as possible. I seriously can not stand to watch the local news, it is so very uninteresting. Oh, I actually LOVE Matlock - he's a stud!

Books:

My favorite author is MARRIANE WILLIAMSON. Also, Thich Nhat Hahn is an excellent author.
