About Me

My purpose here is to aid anyone willing to open their hearts and minds to the idea that human beings aren't the only species capable of feeling pain and emotion, and living a lifestyle that aligns with your ethics is far from difficult. I'll be posting some holiday recipes soon, along with some information that dissolves common stereotypes.
When questioned on why I choose to abstain from animal products, my answer usually varies according to how I feel. If I'm being asked by someone who is genuinely curious or interested in understanding, I will offer a sincere answer; Otherwise, I'll retreat to an insipid 'It doesn't appeal to me' type gesture for the less open or antagonistic, to avoid any unproductive conflict. If contributing less to the suffering of animals and the general devastation of health caused by factory farming is your unfound truth, the information is available and will find you. If not, you have every right to choose to live your life any way you wish and it -whether I deny it or not- doesn't change the fact that I have unconditional love for you.
I do have a sense of humor, and will use it to bring to light any irony or judgmental stands you offer (whether you're vegan or not).
