This is my Rock N Roll Love Letter, to you...

About Me

Greg Horne writes songs, then goes out and sings and plays the folk out of them. He's been doing this for 15 or 20 years, mostly from his home base in Knoxville, TN. Greg also plays old-time fiddle (old-time: American folk form from the early 20th Century), produces records, plays in rock bands (rock: American folk form from the late 20th Century), teaches music, and writes books.

Greg talks about the songs you're listening to:
"Fall on my Knees" is my guitar-guy arrangement of a well-known old time banjo song from Surry County, North Carolina. I've learned it from my friends the Mumbillies, and from recordings of Fred Cockeram and Tommy Jarrell, and from many other old time bands. I'm working on a new solo record and this is from those sessions.
"No Condition" is, on the charts of my mind, my greatest hit.
"Stay All Night" - another fiddle tune from Surry County. This one came out pretty good when I played it on the Blueplate Special on WDVX here in Knoxville.
"Autograph" was recorded in 1997 for my Floating World album with my pals Tim Berry and Michael Comstock at Michael's studio in Philadelphia. I've been slowly remastering this record so I can put it out again one of these days. ____________________________________________________________ _
