About Me

I actually started out as a drummer and did so for 11 years until I got my first guitar at 16. I really didn't get serious about guitar until I was about 18 or 19 and the bug hit me hard; I can truly say that I love that instrument to death! I did the R&B thing for a while but my heart was always into metal such as Ozzy, the Crue, Van Halen, etc cause there was so much to play and there was always a " new kid on the block " as metal grew so there were tons of different ideas and styles to learn how to play. I loved the neo classical movement that came around and loved its technical aspects but my brain and fingers never moved that fast to actually play any of it at blistering speeds! LOL I joined an Indie R&B label years later and produced R&B and hip hop but still never really found my own voice for my guitar playing until about 2 or so years ago. Now that I've done so, I feel that my production skills as well as playing have taken on a better sense of who I am as a guitarist/ producer. My goal is to score movies and television and put out my own album as well. I hope you all enjoy what I'm doing just as much as I have enjoyed making it. I wish everyone who is trying to get into this the very best cause I've heard so much great music on this site and I think myspace is a great tool for all of us to network, share ideas, and bond as musicians. Influences: I've got a lot but first and foremost I've gotta say Prince. I've been a "friend" of his since his early days and he's still an awe inspiring talent. Guitar is my main instrument that I play and I'm an insanely huge Steve Vai fanatic ( another incredible talent ), George Lynch of Dokken, Steve Stevens ( MY ULTIMATE HERO OF ALL TIME! ), Stuart Matthewman ( is THE MAN and always makes my jaw drop musically no matter what! lol ) and Sweetback ( the members of Sade's backup band ), Larry Carlton, Stevie Salas ( what's up bro ), Greg Howe, Satriani. I love chill out lounge music and that's where my head has been lately when it comes to my own music and artists such as Caia, Cottonbelly ( Matthewman again ), Hooj, Olive, Lamb, etc. Hip Hop, Drum n Bass, Jazz, you name it; if it's good I'm into it!
Sounds Like: It's kinda hard to describe my style cause it's a mix of a lot of things. My friends call it sexy ,coffee drinking, thought provoking, having sex music whatever that means but it's all good ! LOL

MAC SUX!

I think I've just crashed my Mac G5 with EVERY single program ( Pro Tools, Reason, Photoshop, Final Cut etc) that I had installed in it while trying to install OSX Tiger so I could upgrade my Pro Tool...
