I am: visionary, intelligent, eclectic, wealthy, healthy, happy, loving, humanitarian, family oriented, creative, spiritual, resourceful, serious, impatient, flexible, simple, lovable, artistic, dreamer, witty, honest, and fun
I was born and raised in a small town in Mississippi. I grew up with my mom, dad, sister and two brothers. I guess you could say I grew up on a farm, because we had cows, chickens, pecan orchards, fruit orchards, horses, and we grew our own crops. Yes, I am country girl and I absolutely "luv" my southern upbringing. During those years in the south, I always had a yearning for more. I dreamt of visiting Africa, Paris, Italy, Mexico and other places around the world. I felt deep within that there was more to life than small town living. I do love small town USA, but my desire was to see the rest of the world and learn how others live and enjoy life. I simply love dreaming and then chasing it rentlentlessly until I get close enough to seize it. My motto is: “Decide, Commit and Succeed.” So I went through the "normal" process of life back then…go to college, get a decent job, and have your own one day. I was always surrounded by entrepreneurship, and I knew that I would one day experience business ownership.
After working as a radio announcer for a while in Mississippi, I followed my heart and relocated to Atlanta, GA. I really enjoy Atlanta because of its diversity. It’s a spiritual Mecca. You can always find something to fulfill your desires in Atlanta. I did the usual and found a job in Corporate America. As I was seated at my desk one day, it occured to me that I had a greater purpose. It totally excited me to know that I really had a purpose in this life. So I began to search the Internet for purpose and passion and I located a company offering Life Purpose Coaching; I signed up, and I received my certification. I would coach friends for free, but I never did it as a business, as I felt there was still more…a longing for something more fulfilling.
As my journey continued, I began to read book after book and I became more and more excited as I read. Some things started to click, as I began to realize that “I am the one I’ve been waiting for.” I enrolled in classes and seminars to satisfy my hunger and thirst for knowledge and how to apply it. To name a few, I am a graduate of Landmark Forum, The Institute for Divine Wisdom, Four Agreements Workshop, Power of A Woman Seminar, Living Foods Institute and many more. The more classes and seminars I took, I really began to see that all that I am and all that I am becoming is based purely on my thoughts. I realized that the only limitations were self imposed.
I thought what if others knew this, what a wonderful world we would experience! I wanted deeply to share this with others. I kept pondering over how to share with the world my findings or bring others together with like minds to further our upward and onward journey. I wanted to gift to world a place where people could come to overcome self and experience life more fully, which is what has led me to the creation of a community of people who are interested in all things holistic. In this community it is my desire to provide you with tools and resources to assist in transforming your life, as I am doing mine. It‘s my heartfelt desire and gift to you. Hopefully, you will find what you are seeking, share what you know, discuss the things you’re not sure about or may feel uncomfortable sharing with someone you know. You can create your own little world, participate in our forum, share articles, opinions, artwork, and your favorite music, and make new friends and business connections, and so much more.
I decided to name the community Soulistic Living Though this word is not in Webster’s Dictionary, yet. I felt it expresses my goals and visions for the Soulistic Living community. My definition of Soulistic Living means living from the essence of who you are…experiencing an amazing lifestyle.
I now know that I can be, do, and have anything that I want. This has been an awesome journey for me, and it has taken time. I invite you to journey with me to wealth, health, happiness, joy, peace, love, and the creation of an amazing lifestyle.
