Located in Harlem, NY Nunu+Loveâ„¢ Natural Handmade Goodies is a small, woman owned business with a love of aromatherapy + fresh natural ingredients.
Over 3 years ago I started researching the ingredients in my bath & body products + could not believe what we use on our bodies!!! I started creating my own products right in my own kitchen. Before then my bathroom was a mini Duane Reade. I used any + every thing thanks to my "gotta try it once" mother. My skin is imbalanced, or what you would call combination skin. I was always oily + dry at the same time. My skin would break-out often. It became so bad that I went to a dermatologist. I was prescribed RETIN-A cream. Well, my skin had a horrible reaction to the cream. I experienced redness, peeling, + crusting of the skin! I decided that I wanted a more natural product. I started creating soap + shea butter based moisturizers for my own use. I then began to share my creations with my family + friends--when they started requesting more, Nunu+Love was born!
I utilize only the highest quality ingredients. I never use harsh preservatives + purchase organic whenever possible.
We make our products from scratch, by hand, in small batches to ensure freshness, using the finest essential oils + safest synthetics. We never use petroleum, parabens, mineral oils, or non-nourishing fillers. In our goodies you can find shea butter, pure aloe vera, nourishing vitamins + herbals carefully chosen for their beneficial + healing properties.
What inspires Nunu+Love? Nature + the earth + food + smells + colors + textures + herbalism + aromatherapy...everything.
