About Me

For the last 18 years, Quiggins has been at the heart of Liverpool’s cultural scene. More than just a groundbreaking shopping experience, the Quiggins Centre is a long-established hothouse for Liverpool’s creative talent. Artists, musicians and those ‘in the know’ understand that when it comes to what’s happening in Liverpool, Quiggins is at the cutting edge. Quiggins lies at the heart of the Bluecoat Triangle development in which Liverpool Council and Grosvenor Estates plan to develop the cultural quarter of Liverpool alongside the larger redevelopment of areas of the city centre. Quiggins do not object to these plans and look forward to the redevelopment of the city centre but we do object to the decision to remove Quiggins from this area.
We have a disadvantage; we are indigenous to Liverpool, not outsiders. This City only trusts outside companies.
Quiggins is committed to Liverpool’s cultural industry and has been since its formation 18 years ago. It houses 45 local businesses, employing 250 local people, all helping to recycle within our local economy.
Quiggins is having to fight hard to fit in with our City of Culture Bid!
