Festival of Sins

Lustreality promotions have asked me to be the host for their festival of sins events - a series of dark, theatrical club nights themed around the seven deadly sins.

First Sin: Lust Join me at the Purple Turtle in Camden on saturday 9th June for debauched entertainment from our male and female pole dancers, our burlesque cabaret and alternative fashion show.

Drink in the company of like minded creatures while dancing to the sounds of the fantastic Matinee Club, Rapid Fiction and Problem Being.

It all kicks off at 8pm and will be an extra special night held every two months. Be there on the 9th for the start of something truely wonderful.

I do many things, always have done. Recently expanded into new fields.

Currently I work in three main areas. I'm a journalist and web developer in the music industry and also manage a unique synth pop artist in london. In addition to managing I've also assisted a few bands in various areas from arranging photographers to finding new members. Music features most of the time in what I do.

Spare time: In my own time I play synthesisers and work on my own music. My current gem is my little MicroKorg I've had drilled into and fitted with a guitar strap. I like going out in Birmingham, London and Manchester to bars clubs and many gigs. I read, watch films and socialise a lot.

Over the last few years I've also done the odd bit of graphics and artwork including the image below, created for my musician, pop fuiturist Jon Baz.

The name DONTFOLLOWFASHION came from a headline of one of my columns in 2002 which was syndicated around some of the UK's student press.

I like people, I like thought, words and visuals. Be different, never do what is expected, DONT FOLLOW FASHION.
