Bay Rising, the Bay Area's second annual battle of the bands hosted exclusively by Yonas Media, is accepting submissions from local independent artists of all genres from May 1, 2008 through July 15th, 2008. Musicians can submit their applications through Sonicbids or by mail to: Yonas Media at 1625 Broadway, Oakland, CA 94612.
Five bands from the Bay Area's top choice talent will be selected to perform at The Great American Music Hall in front of hundreds of fans and a panel of judges to compete for prizes valued at over $10,000. Grand Prize includes a five-day recording package at Yonas Media's new Oakland Recording Studio.
