Kansan Uutiset were one of the short-lived early 80´s hardcore bands from Finland who have later on gained a cult status. The band played some gigs, recorded an EP "Suomi orgasmin partaalla" in 1982 (that was not released apart from a few songs on compilation records) plus an album entitled "Beautiful dreams" before splitting up a year later.
The band was reformed in early 2006 by the original members Saasta and Orkky. Orkky however left the band soon. Now, some new material has been written and the future seems to be as uncertain as it will ever be...
