Everytime I Hear RAMMSTEIN

About Me

Hi I am a songwriter singer. I have been doing this on and off since I was a teenager. Lately I have really enjoyed writing and performing in Sydney at venues like the Basement and The Vanguard with some wicked musical colleagues... these include Danny Marx Young, Floyd Vincent, Steve Kilby, Steve Balbi, Steve Bull, Rex Goh, Dario Bortolin, Syd Green, Bongo, Lloyd G, Damian Lovelock, Andy Gordon, Amanda Easton, Shanley Dell, Chrissy Thomas, Brett Winterford, Brydon Stace and my Dad Les Murray. My most recent (and current) thing an adolescent but roaring band called Little Pleasures. With me in the band is a solid and inventive guitarist / song writer named Aaron Lawrie. We write songs with each other via email, and then professionally record these with our Producer Melvin Tree (Leroy Lee, Tim Weekes) from home studios and in various recording studios in the Sydney and Lake Macquarie area. We have just unleashed our debut EP called The LP – EP, sharply having success with title track ‘Everytime I Hear Rammstein’ reaching the number one spot on Triple J’s Unearthed Charts. The hand still scratches the head when people ask who we sound like - we've been likened to Shirely Manson (Garbage), Blondie, Veruca Salt, The Sneaker Pimps, Velvet Underground and Nico :-) Feel free to give your input here we would love to hear from you! Guest musicians onboard are Roz Chia, Syd Green, Dario Bortolin, Dave Leslie, Pete Drummond, Natalie Murray and Melvin Tree..... So that's us - a mixed bag of sound that could be from any corner of the world. Thanks for taking the time to have a snoop around our myspace....
