Mitch Butler has said goodbye to Sydney; chasing a little song-writing inspiration in Cairns and now NSW Central West. 2009 is going to be all about songwriting, sharing her music and demo-ing her debut studio album.Her debut EP "Nothing Minor" has already been a fruitful creation for Mitch, and her 6.5 years in Sydney has seen a handful of awesome successes to go with. She scored "Highly Commended Singer/Songwriter" in the 2008 Musicoz Awards for 2 of her songs "Real" and "A Lover Like You" off her debut EP "Nothing Minor". She has also been added onto Triple J's playlist and reached 10 & 12 on the Triple J Unearthed "Roots" charts. And more recently Mitch has been added to www.radar.com.auKeep an ear to the ground for a gig near you in 2009.HISTORY OF EP "NOTHING MINOR"

They had some talented muso's drop by; first came Miriam Johnston with her beautiful violin - she stayed for 2 days adding beautiful shades of colour and delight. Then the extraordinary Matt Tonks dropped by for an evening and added a depth and beauty that only the Tonks can entice from a guitar!Everything came so easily ... wonderful friendships and an impressive ep was born."Nothing Minor" produced, mixed, arranged by Syd Green.
