If the Birthday party, Ac/dc, and Kyuss had an all- in- brawl, It may well have sounded like First Time Hookers. Then again, it may not have.See, how do you describe the sound of a group of five hill dwelling blokes bonded more so by mateship and sessions of severe inebriation than musical tastes? That's right, you can't. Sure it's a fucking loud twin guitar assault of low- slung suburban rock, blended with the sound of the swamp, wrapped up in one sleazy package. The descriptors, however, end there.First Time Hookers are a phenomenon that can only be witnessed in it's live glory. The primal march of the rhythm section, provided by Stevie G on the drums and Freddo on Bass, lay devillish foundations for the wall of sound generated by the Marshall amplifiers of Jarrod and Catfish. It is the perfect backdrop from which Cam can sing, shout, and scream from.It has been five years in the making, but those years of First Time Hookers plying their trade in just about every joint possible in Melbourne has been the perfect practice as they once more unleash the fury on the live scene in preparation for the release of album no. 2. Recorded at Atlantis Studios by Loki Lockwood (Six ft. Hick, The Drones, Spencer P.
