Combining swift bass riff's, driving drums, frantic vocals and guitars to create a dance/punk sound, Dws are a hard working and dedicated band. Influences ranging from the Cure, sonic youth and the Jam to the likes of Korn, the Deftones and the Faint, make for what is blossoming into to a fairly individual sound. Lyrically they take many influences from Brecht and Edwin Morgan, with the idea of the listener having to decifer their own meanings from the words, rather than any realist imagery or emotional drool.
