About Me

Louises diverse career began as a classical musician performing at the Edinburgh Festival and throughout Germany, singing with the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra. Her later progression to the worlds of pop, blues and jazz has seen her work with some of the biggest artists, record labels, studios (including Abbey Road) and promoters in the UK.
The ability to command her audiences to silence, thanks to her laid- back chords, classically influenced detail, heart-felt lyrics and spine-tingling vocals, has become legendary.
Now a regular on London’s live music scene (Bush Hall, Earls Court Exhibition Centre, Islington Bar Academy, Barfly, The Bedford, The Cobden Club, Jazzfly) she has performed throughout the UK and Ireland developing her reputation as an inspirational live performer. Louise’s music has also been greatly received in New York City. Since 2005 Louise has been visiting the city and has played some of its most legendary venues including The Living Room, The Bitter End, Sidewalk Café, Sin-e and Rockwood music hall.
In April 2008 Louise played several shows at New Yorks 10th 'Tartan Week'.
Her May show at Bush Hall in Shepherds Bush was listed in the 'three things to do tonight' section of the 'London Paper' as No 1, with Glasgow band the 1990's at No 2.
Little Things, Louises debut album is due to be released in 2007.
'gorgeous...Her voice, which can only be described as amazing, complements her piano playing beautifully.' STV (scottish television) 'This weeks top events'.
'A favourite at My Village HQ...If her performances are any measure, we see no reason why things shouldn’t soon start moving very rapidly indeed'. www.myvillage.co.uk
'...(sings) so beautifully....a fantastic artist.' Malcolm McConnell, Jazzfly, London.
'Well felt songs with feelings and meanings to the words. You don't get much of that in todays music in the UK'. Stuart Wakeman, executive producer, Reelsounds Studio
'...excellent style and performance' Red Admiral Records
