The 16th by Guy David
Published every month on the 16th. This podcast features an experimental mix of Techno, IDM, Drum'n'Bass, Illbient and Ambient, created by Guy David.
About Me:
I play an impossible blend of Drum'n'Bass, Ambient, Techno and IDM. My interest in writing music lies in breaking time, distorting it and rearranging it.
I'm currently working on a technique I call Voice Deconstruction. The voice deconstruction technique involves the recording of a voice, singing or talking, disassembling the recording and then assembling it in a completely new order. A genuine voice deconstruction may contain only reassembled recorded voice. No effect filters, changes in pitch or other voice altering techniques are allowed.
I create my music using Reason and Recycle software from Propellerhead. I use recycle to break samples into small pieces and Reason to manipulate them and create new sounds and music sequences.
