I'm a 36 year old writer and activist and sometime computer programmer. I'll be posting material from my books, blog and latest podcasts here.

I went to Northside High School in Atlanta, then (very briefly) to Georgia State, then off to the Army and Saudi Arabia and Iraq.

Since then, I've been knocking around trying to figure out what to do with myself. In the process, I've had two seperate careers, one as an information technology manager, the second as an activist. I published a novel in 2001 and a new one will be out later this year. Was the first executive director of the National Gulf War Resource Center (1995-1997), Nuclear Policy Research Institute (2003-04) and Veterans for Common Sense (2004-present)

You can check out the free podcasts of both my novels at www.sheehanmiles.com

Two kids (eleven and six) and a wonderful wife. We recently moved to North Carolina after ten years in the Washington metro area.
