About Me

TEFLON CHILD is the creation of 25 year old Dan Porter. This collective has developed since its conception five years ago, utilising musicians and vocalists to create an explosive impact. Performing on the London and national club circuit, this Hertfordshire-based act are striving to be spoken about in the same breath as Faithless or Moby, fronting their own unique style, sometimes described as electronica/breaks. The live act features vocalist Tom Cameron, percussionist Stix, synths by Dan, and guitar by Sean Robertson. Teflon Child also build on their intense onstage presence by collaborating across a range of different style vocalists, including Tom Cameron, Jim Connelly, Deb O'Mahony, Gi Ghumania, and Alex Larke. Amy Squire and Suzanne Corne are also frequent guest violinists.The band have just signed to London-based label Thirteen|Zero and are due to release their debut album September 2007. Firehead single and remixes will be released in August 2007.
