OUT NOW - DANCE OF THE YAKUSARU on SC:DIGITAL

Aurora/Venturi EP from Digibeats Music

Song of the Liondog (album) available from Noisehead,

anonymi is a digital musician, but with a lifetime rooted in instrumentalism and percussion. The wide styles reflected in his solo works encompass drum'nbass, classical, scottish folk, arabic, romany, and long nights sweating bass in clubs and festivals. He was a founder member of the legendary but currently dispersed Weird Attractors, a 8-10 piece live drum'n'bass collective in Edinburgh, Scotland. His current work fuses folk styles with polyrhythmic breakbeat/drum'n'bass, rich orchestral harmonies and stupid bass.

anonymi tunes have been commissioned for local and international circus / dance performances as well as being heard in clubs and festivals. He has worked particularly with Canopy Trapeze (Georgia, USA),tePOOKa (Scotland) and recently with NVA (Scotland). He has produced two full length CD collections : TheVoice From Nowhere (2001-2002) and Song of the Liondog (2003) NOW AVAILABLE, SEE BELOW. anonymi has produced remixes for U.S. fiddler Andrew Heaton (Packway Handle Band, forthcomingrelease) and the Weird Attractors (Adrenaline Soup, Earshot Recordings ). His Aurora/Venturi tracks formed the debut release for Digibeats Music while 'Dance of the Yakusaru' was featured on the Subvert:Digital Soundclash II.

Watch this space for news of the forthcoming CD album release, coming this autumn!.
