INSPIRAL: The story so far.....After the break-up of "Midget By Default" in early 2003, Trent (guitar), Damo (drums) and Steve (percussion switching to FX/Loops/Samples) continued jamming together on a mission to uncover the impossible: a perfect blend of Heavy Groove, Funk, Dance, Electro that could break the boundaries of genres and appeal to any taste imaginable.2 months later Matt (ex Bassist "Thermal Skunk Rust") joined up with the boys adding the funk for this Heavy Groove / Techno Hybrid which had become known as "in.spiral.theory"The search for a vocalist was on! But with the music having such a diverse style, combining influences from bands such as Mr. Bungle, Korn, Testeagles, SonicAnimation, Meshuggah, Static X, Pantera, Primus and The Prodigy it proved a massive task to find the right voice for the job.In early 2004 the right voice came in the form of long time friend Lil' Steve (ex "Skankchaser", "Midget By Default" and "Karma"). This completed the line-up for "in.spiral.theory" For awhile anyway....After writing, rehearsing & recording numerous demo's (in which the songs on this page were recorded) in.spiral.theory hit the stage for a short time. Playing shows at the Ding Dong Lounge, The Armadale Hotel, Revolver, The Tote and a few others until Lil' Steve left the band followed closely by Matt.Fast forward to 2007 with the new name "Inspiral" new Guitarist Shane (ex "Liquid X") and new Bass player Mick (ex "At What Cost") things are starting to look up.Now (again) searching for the right voice, with auditions in process the boys hope to be onstage very shortly.....!
