About Me

"
Myspace Editor "Venom injected rock ‘n’ roll that has become a “must see” of San Diego’s music scene. The debut album, "From Red to Gray" has been nominated for San Diego Music Awards Best Rock Album for 2007 and hand chosen as FM 94.9's local recommended band and album for the month of May. Led by rippin’ female lead guitarist, Lindsay Matheson (trained by Fu-Manchu’s Bob Balch) & explosive frontman CJ Gladstone with Nate Millions (former Campaign For Quiet member) on drums and recently added bassist, Murray Foretich (The Dirty Kings), Roses' gritty, solid, in your face show and sound are starting to turn heads in the music industry. As the featured band in the upcoming October issue of 944, it’s hard to ignore the presence Roses is making for themselves. Roses on Her Grave has played Austin during SXSW, The Knitting Factory, The Viper Room, The Troubador and The Scene in L.A and locally The Casbah, the Beauty Bar, SDSC, The Tower Bar, the Zombie Lounge, Canes and The Alibi.
