San Diego Alex's Lemonade Stand

Our family began holding our annual Alex's Lemonade Stand in 2006 after hearing Alex's story. Alex has brought our family, friends, neighbors, and community together for the past three summers to join in the fight against childhood cancer. Each year our stand has grown, and we plan to continue raising funds and awareness of the deadly disease for years to come. We feel it is important to set an example and show our children ways to give back to our community. The radio station FM 94.9 has helped us immensely through the years. They have done a live broadcast all day at our house!
We will be hosting our 4th annual Alex's Lemonade Stand on July 11, 2009! Over the past three years with the help of volunteer and generous donations we have raised nearly $20,000 for pediatric cancer research!
