Ben Drysdale

Ben Drysdale has performed in music and theatre for most of his life. He finally broke out of bedroom/campfire/open mic scene in 2003 when he began playing at The Royal in Vancouver. Since returning to Australia in 2004 he has had a chance to develop his music by playing regularly at local live music showcase events which he has been organising in Canberra. He feels blessed to have had the chance to work with some of Canberra's top musicians, some of whom he co-erced into playing in his band "Smitten". His style ranges from soft folky ballads to a rocky contemporary sound, with sincere yet often quite cheeky lyrics. Check out the tracks on myspace to get a taste yourself.
