The Real Deal

About Me

My father was an immigrant from the African country of Cape Verde. Portuguese & Criolu were his native tongues, but he spoke Yiddish, Italian, Polish and Spanish. He couldn't read or write, but did alright despite being illiterate, the language barrier, the Depression and racism. He was able to join a trade union probably because of his understanding several languages. Mom's family was from Thomas & Grady counties in Georgia. They have both passed on, but proudly had a son & granddaughter who attended Yale, and have other grandchildren enrolled or who attended Rutgers, Nassau Community College, Central Connecticut, NYU, Borough of Manhattan Community College, UC Berkley & Florida A & M. I have two sons, 21 & 20, and a girl 18. I am a Civil Servant and union member. I am a "House Head" or one who enjoys Deep House music. I go to dance clubs where this music is played at least monthly. I have a decent record collection I've amassed over the years and I keep abreast of new artists, producers and the music they make. I want to be around people who like to have fun. Whether that means watching TV, taking in a movie or a trip to the mall, it doesn't really matter to me. I'm very flexible. Dancing is a good workout and stress reduction tool. Losing myself to the music and vibe, then coming home drained & spent, is a result of involving ones self in the Deep House scene, but well worth it.......

My Interests

I like taking pictures with my digital camera of events I attend. I go to concerts around the city and plays when I can. Street fairs are a fun way I spend a day sometimes. Events with a cultural flair interest me. Museums, exhibitions and other venues that show historical items are interesting to me. I love clothes shopping and finding new places to buy them. I like to keep up with advances in audio and computer gadgets and technology....... Get your own Flash MP3 Player
