www.cyberjamz.comwww.cyberjamz.comMaster Kev's early influences, Timmy Regisford, Merlin Bobb and of course Tony Humphries were such an inspiration to Kev that he knew early on that music was going to be an integral part of his life.
Kev began to work for Tony Humphries and Tony's label "Yellorange" back in 1999. Mr. Humphries had taught Kev a tremendous amount about playing for different crowds all over the world , anywhere from the continental US to all over Europe and beyond.
In March of 2000, Kev played his first Winter Music Conference gig in Miami, Florida to a packed house in the main room at Bar Room for the Yellorange/Basement Boys Party. The experience solidified his place in the Yellorange camp and introduced him to many other important people in the industry that he hadn't met before.
In October of that same year, Master Kev helped form the Underground Collective. Started in New York City in 2000, the collective of DJs, musicians and singers was created to draw exposure within the dance music industry to major labels. The party was a huge success and lasted in NYC for well over 3 years . They had also booked many of the top names in house as guests including Louie Vega, Tony Humphries, David Morales, Kerri Chandler, Frankie Feliciano, Dennis Ferrer, DJ Spinna, DJ Spen as well as singers Kenny Bobien, Michelle Weeks, Barbara Tucker and so many more. The event became so popular that
they took their show across the globe and US and have had many successful Miami WMC parties as well. Kev went along, playing alongside residents Marlon D, David Tobon, and Phil D.
Besides his work with the Underground Collective, Kev has played 7 Winter Music Conferences in Miami,Florida; three Italian Music Conferences in Ricciadone, Italy; made several appearances at Club Red , Andalu, and Club 5 in Washington, D.C.; David Harness's Taboo party in San Francisco as well as his "Super Soul Sundays" at the End Up; the "Devotion" party at the End Up with Tony Humphries ; DEEP LA with Marques Wyatt ,Soul Heaven in Los Angeles; and the Opium Garden in Miami and AKA in Orlando, Florida.
