Sting International: DJ/Night Club Co-Partner/Music Producer/Arranger/Writer/Composer. Executive producer for the multi-platinum, diamond selling international performing artist "Shaggy".
I've produced many of the hit songs known by Shaggy (Big Up, Oh Carolina, Boombastic, It Wasn't Me, Angel, Strength Of A Woman, etc. and the recent smash hit "CHURCH HEATHEN" co-produced with Tony "CD" Kelly...as well as the NEW single from the New SHAGGY "Intoxication" Album song entitled, "BONAFIDE" ft: Rik Rok & Tony Gold off of the "PANTY TOWN" RIDDIM) ...also produced songs with Maxi Priest, Berres Hammond, Barrington Levy, Chaka Khan, etc...mixed & remixed songs with Shabba Ranks, Super Cat, Machel Montano, Sean Paul, Elephant Man, Will Smith to name a few....
"Sting International" .... originally known as a DJ sound system made up years ago playing out in local dancehalls and clubs throughout Brooklyn...(Biltmore Ballroom/Tilden Ballroom/Love People/Village Hut/Club Illusion...now known as Caribbean City, etc.) eventually moving up into mainstream nightclubs throughout the 5 boroughs...mainly Manhattan (Bentleys, Silver Shadow, Red Parrot, Red Zone, The Latin Quarter and the most famous of all, The Underground). Soon to follow was the success of a radio show on 98.7 Kiss FM. (Sunday nights "Hip House Reggae" w/ Dahved Levi as the announcer & host....and "Sting International" as the music programmer / DJ / selector)... a major success to the foundation of reggae and caribbean music being broadcasted Citywide. Another twist was added when DJ'ing for the roller skating world in the 90s. The home base EMPIRE ROLLER RINK in Brooklyn was another leap in my musical journey of success with the king of the skate world, "DJ BIG BOB".Despite the success of my music production, my first love is and always will be DJ'ing. Nowadays you can catch me spinning deep house and classics at CLUB SHELTER Saturday nights into Sunday afternoons randomly throughout the month.
