Music is my number 1 interest. Then there's the Hot Rock, and Biker Chicks! Cool Arm Candy is Mandatory! Performing live Rock shows and sex are so damn close on the (HELL YEA!) scale that I have a tough time with separating them. But I seem to get it done when the time is at hand, lol. That might have something to do a possible case of (A D D) or maybe it's cause I'm left handed and I play bass right handed, who knows?! What I do know is the level of passion I have for this music thing. OFF THE SCALE!
I also enjoy engineering live sound, putting together amazing stage shows, studio production, and teaching bass guitar. I'm a cool geek. Shhh, don't tell anyone... I'm trying to look uber cool here... lol.
Camping is high on the list, I mean going out for the weekend and appearing to be broke, lol. My new Harley Davidson Fat Boy either solo or with a (fine ass) perched on the bitch pad. Power-boating, sailing, fishing, and surfing. Outdoor sports like baseball and soccer and football are always cool to play and watch. And last but not least by any means, hanging with my sons Thomas, Anthony, and Jordy whom I dearly love doing all the stuff I just listed and more. MY KIDS ROCK
: To maintain Peace, Balance, Happiness, and Success in my life. If anybody wants to fuck with that then I say, "nuke the bastards", cause we live in the greatest nation in the world. We also have the best Allies a country could ask for. Everyone either wants to be us or move here. I think that's perfect. I've got the big one beat... Location, Location, Location. Gang, we can have it R way in the Free World! God Bless The USA and Our Military! Keep the USA Free and Strong!
I like to meet cool people who can laugh at themselves when they fuck up and have the same passion for music and life that I do; non-egotistical's who enjoy living life large with friends and family. Living the Rock-N-Roll life style at any level is the best way I have found for me to get through life on this planet. No one gets out alive so do what you love, do it as big as you can, and do it as often as you can.
I'd like to thank (MICHON) for supplying me with a ton of very cool concert pictures and videos! She Rocks with a camera! You know something else... she is wonderful at the personal assistant thing and very hot! I think she was the image Rod Stewart had in mind when he wrote ( HOT LEGS )( wait till she reads this... I'm gonna get hit) lol
Also Thanks to: FENDER, EPIPHONE, AMPEG, GK, MARSHALL, ROTO SOUND, EMG, DURICELL, MONSTER, DBX, ELECTRO-VOICE, JBL, ELECTRO HARMONIX, MXR, TUBE WORKS, BOSS, SHURE, URIE, AKG, LINE 6, MACKIE, API, PERKINS, TASCAM, SONY, KORG, ATLAS, THE RECORDING WORKSHOP, HARLEY-DAVIDSON MOTOR CYCLES, BUDWEISER, THE GUITAR CENTER, MUSICIANS ALLEY, MOTOROLA, VERIZON, KENTUCKY, TENNESSEE, JAMAICA, COLOMBIA... Some of these guys look familiar...ha!
I'm a huge Classic Rock fan, it's the music that I cut my teeth on when I started playing bass, I also like and play Country, Top 40/Dance and Pop, and Motown. Honestly, any music that is done well in the studio and performed even better live with a hot band goes over with me. Music is a form of freedom... again kind of like sex, to compare, for you non-playing types. The more freedom the better! If you don't get it... (your name here) I'm Sorry for You. Message me and we can chat. Don't want anybody to misunderstand me. That would be tragic.
On a Pro Bass Player Note: The gear I use, so ya'll know how I get that KICK ASS SOUND, lists like this...
The amps are AMPEG. One is a (2000) Ampeg SVT Pro 3 and the other is a (1970) Classic SVT.
The Cabinet is an Ampeg 410 HLF Pro, the high power 800 watt model. Sometimes I bring out more 410 and 118 Ampeg cabs depending on the size of the stage.
My Basses that I'm currently using are FENDER. My favorite is a (1977) Fender P-Bass that has been completely hot rodded. It's painted bright yellow and has a black and white checkered pick guard. Some of my fans called it (THE TAXI) one night at a show and it stuck. The other Fenders are (1999) Reissue of a (1962) Jazz Bass. It's stock, I haven't gotten around to the mods yet. I'm planning on rigging it like my (1977) P-Bass to keep the same output power and tone, just louder! I use EMG pickups and Bad Ass Bridges when i get around to making the mods on these hunnies. The 3rd and newest Fender is the Geddy Lee Jazz Bass. That thing is a fast ass Bass! Ok, now I know I said I'm a Fender Man but have to say something about this old EPIPHONE FLYING V BASS I bring for out the last set of the show. This thing is lite and fast so by the end of the night when I'm wiped out and trashed I can still pull the house around for a huge ending.
The pedals you see me step on are all old school but one. Electro Harmonix Deluxe Flanger (built in New York back in the day), Electro Harmonix Bass Balls, the Russian model, and a Electro Harmonix Analog Delay. Two other pedals I use are a Tube Works Blue Tube and the New LINE 6 BASS PRO XT LIVE. This last all-in-one pedal is beginning to take over my needs. Killer tone, plus it's just like a great girlfriend; knows what you need and delivers!
All the cables are Monster.
In the rack, I have a Urie model 7110 compressor, Korg tuner, and a decent wireless. I use a Shure SM-58 for vocals. Look for some new AKG gear in the rig soon!
My favorite movies are Concert Video's, Comedies, Action, and Scary...Dee, dee, dee...I'm a Guy. lol.
I watch The Discovery Channel, The History Channel, VH1, AMC, the Comedy Network, the Travel Channel, Cartoon Channel, and the Food Network - when I am not playing with the band or in the saddle! Sometimes I tend to lean into the Sony PS2 for a break from shitty TV programming...
My fav's are the Ann Rice Vampire Novels. I haven't found time to read a book for years. Honestly, if I've got time to read a book, then I'm wasting good Bass GTR or saddle time!
My biggest hero is my DAD! He taught me how to fly small airplanes - how to feel free at 9 yrs. old. Next is Pete Rose. He showed me how to be a leader and an excellent team player. Then there's the classic rock gods like John Entwisle (GOD REST HIS SOUL) of the Who, Geddy Lee of Rush, Michael Anthony of Van Halen, Gene Simmons of Kiss, Steve Harris of Iron Maiden and a few of the cool new Bass Playa's that I've met in the last few months and over the years. I pick out the good points from y'all... and exploit everything I soak up for my own personal needs and greed! lol. Just kidding! You peeps rock and I'm happy to call you friends! Peace, Brothers and Sisters.
