With genuine talent and a captivating presence, Sarah Lancaster is turning heads as one of Hollywood's ascending young stars. In fact Entertainment Weekly included her in its "2004 Must List," a barometer of all that's "smart, sexy, and reeking of power."
Last fall Sarah co-starred as the beautiful and ambitious blackjack dealer Veronica Harold on CBS's one hour drama, Dr. Vegas, with Rob Lowe and Joe Pantoliano. She has also garnered attention for her recurring role as Madison Kellner on the engrossing family drama, Everwood, playing the rock-band-fronting babysitter and love interest to Gregory Smith's Ephram Brown.
Previously Sarah had a memorable arc as Lisa, the hot gift shop girl and love interest to Zach Braff's character on NBC's Scrubs. In addition, she had a recurring role for FOX on David E. Kelley's Boston Public as a snooty high school student running for prom queen. She has guest-starred on such other hit television series as CSI: Crime Scene Investigation for CBS, HBO's Six Feet Under, FOX's That '70s Show, The WB's 7th Heaven and Dawson's Creek, as well as in the upcoming NBC comedy, Four Kings.
For the big screen, Sarah played a love interest to Leonardo DiCaprio's character in DreamWorks' Catch Me If You Can. "If you blink, you'll miss me," she's quick to offer, "but it was a valuable experience working with Steven Spielberg."
Sarah was born in Overland Park, Kansas, where she grew up with her younger brother, Daniel. Her mother, Barbara, was a homemaker, and her father, Michael, was in real estate. It was his job that led the family to Mission Viejo, California when she was ten years old. Soon after the move, she began taking acting classes and immediately landed a talent agent. After a few months of commuting from Orange County to Los Angeles for auditions, she secured her first professional series regular role as Rachel on Saved by the Bell: The New Class.
From the time she was in the eighth grade, Sarah was tutored on-set. After she wrapped production on the series, and having taken college courses at U.C. Irvine to expedite her high school graduation, she made the official move to L.A. to pursue her acting career.
Currently residing in Los Angeles with her two cats, Sarah's interests include art, reading, ballet, pilates, working out and traveling.
