Mad Society: The Youngest of the Old School! One of L.A.'s most unique bands to emerge from the landscape of the 80s Hollywood punk scene. Ranging in age from 9-16, they were only together a whopping 11 months, release one EP, but managed to create an indelible mark on those who remember and dig them. In CHORD magazine's Winter 2004 issue Frank Corva recently interviewed John Frusciante who stated:
"Once I started playing music, it became a way of
connecting with the people who were making me feel
these intense things. It's no different today than it
was when I was 12 years old learning
Mad Society songs and Black Flag songs on my guitar".
