Partly originating from the venerable Hefepilse, the band then consisting of Dole (vocals, guitar), Sascha (drums) and Pascal (bass) started performing as Riot Company in May 2001. At that time the songs for the first EP titled Punkrock Radio were recorded. However, it took one more year to have this EP published by Halb7 Records / Wasted Youth Records.
Following the first concerts the bassman was replaced by Tristan (former member of Systemfehla), and Jan temporarily joined the band as second guitarist.
Looking for a permanent and competent lead guitar player turned out to be quite difficult, so that the Company was limited to a trio travelling the Republic.
In the meantime a self-released CD titled The unreleased tracks appeared on the market, which as the name already implies contained songs that were neither included on the first EP nor on any sampler.
In March 2003 the band returned to the studio to record four new songs. And suddenly there was a new guitar player Nudel from Stomper 98 joined the Company.
Half a year later, in September 2003, D:S:S Records published the long-awaited split EP that was recorded together with Scum from England. D:S:S Records has also published the Companys first Longplayer in spring 2004.
