About Me

Ville Pynssi (b.1978) has quickly established himself as one of the best drummers in Finland. This talented musician from the city of Kokkola ended up finally to the jazz department of Sibelius Academy after having played with several Finnish artists and worked in theaters around Finland. Years 2005-2006 he spent his time in Paris, France studying in Conservatoire National Superiour De La Music with such teachers as Riccardo Del Fra, Dre Pallemaerts, Daniel Humair and others. Ville is known as a skillful, versatile and edged musician and therefore he is considered as one of the most popular drummers in Finland. He has performed all around the world with great artists and orchestras such as Phil Markowitz, Rick Margitza, Severi Pyysalo, Jukka Perko, Jarmo Savolainen, Sakari Kukko, Jukka Tolonen, UMO, M.B.O among others.
