This page is dedicated to my friend Mark who passed away. He fought a courageous battle with cancer and saddly, lost. It seems unfair because he never smoked, drank, and even ate healthy. Mark was kind hearted and considerate and was one of the best human beings I have ever known. I, like many others will miss him but he remains in our hearts. He finished a 10 song CD before he died and I would like to share his music. If you would like more songs, email me. If by chance you knew Mark, and would like to share thoughts or info, or have pictures, please email me. Thank you, Todd........................................................
....................................................IN MARK'S OWN WORDS FROM CD:.........................................................
...Born in 1957 in Mass. ( only child ) stayed with Grandma-while Mom & Dad traveled across the U.S.A. pursuing a musical "Duo". Being good at what they do, this lasted for many years. My musical talents started young ( 8 yrs. old ), Bands by 13-motorcycles-long hair-You get the picture. Left the East in 1978-headed West-stayed 17 years-more bands-an original band "INFRA-RED" for 14 years..................finally moved to Florida to build my house, get a job, join a band, Luckily to wind up with a great bunch and so many friends.I would like to thank:
Jimbo at the Anchor, Dave Searcy, Pat Burke, all the Second Nature Crew, and all the other musicians for making me better at music. Charlie, Robert, Mike Bell, Robin ( at the store ), Dick & Lu McNeer, , Fast Fred, Paul & Julie Case and all the people at the Anchor ( for sitting thru all my bad notes ) The Oregon Boys ( Kevin, Pat & Terry ), Pastor Hunt, Chuck Nastasia, Joan & Warren, and of course Deb, without whom I never could have done it.I guesswhen an idea comes into your head and sometimes there isn't another round-you whip out the electronic stuff-which I'm not good at. So the drummers may find this a little rough.
My apologies........
"Kitty on the Wall" dates back to 1971 and was overtracked on a Mono Reel to Reel........some tunes are just Jams. Check out tracks.. 2, 4, 7, 9 which feature Dave Searcy on drums.I thank God for my life, and wish people would look to the future by not making money a priority. And people, Music, Art, what you Need and not Want a priority. Save God's Earth, Air & Water. Educate and Dismiss Violence.I hope you enjoy my musical thoughts....................................................
