Well here we are, almost fifteen years since we wrote that first little diddly in STOKE, round NORMAN BEERS house on his electric organ. Who's idea was it to call it BATHOSPHERE? One year later and we were in the BASEROOM studios in SHELTON with DOPEKID writing our first EP. And IT took us a fuckin......YEAR!!! Then the label went into liquidation 3 DAYS before its release! Laffin! Wot a spoof man! ..Great WHITE LABEL tho... Do you remember JOHN TAYLOR playin it at SIN CITY in HANLEY? Boss nites La! Then it was just you and me kidda! OVUM, (beast breaks btw!) And wot was that gig about in Brum? A snooker hall full of pimps? Wot a hoot! It prompted a name change, THE UNORTHODOX ENGINEERS or as you used to say, 'unorzaduz enshinees' -(piss'ed). On the roof of army and navy in Hanley playin SOUNDSCULPTURES!!! Wot a !?!?!...I watched the video of it the other day.. YOU havent aged one bit!! A bit heavier perhaps but.... I look like a hillbilly ! Mullet and baseball cap.. a huh! Well it was 1999. I blame NINTENDO! But then we would have never found WINTERBORN and BLASTER which one is the MASTER? Neither is a RASTA!
