Zero The Hero

Been writing and performing music for years round Liverpool and beyond in bands such as The Maybes, The Way, The Glassbeads and Lisa Locks and her Precious Boys. This music held here is mainly my solo electronic based stuff. I am trying to create some interesting rhythms with the percussion, basslines and melodies all playing off each other as a whole piece. Using the dub technique as a performance to create the songs in these live dub outs.Not Easy was written about a year ago the lyrics and music done separately then one night of inspiration I matched the two in my head and out it popped. The rhythm guitar is a first actual take jamming along I like the vibe from it so decided to keep it, some of the nuances I probably would struggle to organically capture again- so why bother trying. No one could get the lead guitar riffs for months then my bro Nick played this stormer. I debuted this one live in March 2006 at Neu Sound at Korova everyone who saw it loved it.The other three tunes are live electronic dub outs these are one takes with no overdubs so the mistakes are only human. There is plenty more to come of this stuff I have about an album and a half worth of instrumentals all in the same kind of musical vein and some more clubby stuff too.
