Zoned Out is collaboration between Miss Moneypennys / Chuff Chuff resident and owner; DJ/Producer Jim 'Shaft' Ryan and Ivor Novello nominated producer Ian Wallman. Ryan has been an influential figure of House Muisc for fifteen years creating the uniquely glamorous Moneypenny’s parties and the innovatively elegant Chuff Chuff events. Wallman is an experienced producer who has written with the likes of Shola Ama, Ms Dynamite, Ultra Nate, Beenie Man and UB40 and was one half of B 15 Project who reached number 7 in the single charts with 'Girl's like Us' in 2000.
Zoned Out came about as a result of a twist of fate. The guys had studios next door to each other, their first project was to rework Jefferson Airplane’s ‘White Rabbit’ a firm favourite of Jim and Ian’s. White Rabbit became one of the seminal tracks of Ibiza 2006 played regularly on the islands HFM and Global radio as well as being an anthem in Space and DC 10.
White Rabbit cemented the relationship and over the last two years they have remixed many high profile artists such as Kelly Rowland. Shakira (their mix recut to the official video by Sony with over 100,000 hits on youtube), Alanis Morrisette, Erykah Badu, Michael Buble, Stevie Nicks, Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, The Twang, Chakka Khan, Tegan and Sarah, Regina Spektor, Idina Menzel, Jody Watley, The Pipettes, Tiffany Affair, The Ones to name but a few.
Zoned Out are currently developing their own material with featured artists with a live element for touring purposes.
