About Me

Born in Tijuana, Mexico songstress Leticia Ascencio began writing songs in her early teens. Her first professional break came when she collabrated with producer Robert Gutierrez "ODM" from the group "Lighter Shade of Brown" on two songs for the Mercury Records soundtrack to the movie Mi Vida Loca. The following year she sang on the Sony soundtrack to the hit movie "I Like It Like That". Leticia has worked with many top producers including Jeeve Ducornet, Oji Pierce, Vito & Neely of the Co-Stars and Richard Humpty Vission and her songs have been covered by a wide variety of artists. In 2001, she wrote two songs on Eden's Crush's top 5 album "Popstars" on David Foster's label, 143 Records. Other artists who have recorded her songs include Daniela Romo (BMG), Puerto Rican Power (Sony Discos), Lina (Hidden Beach), and Rigo Luna (Machete/Universal). Her songs have also been featured in many popular television shows including "America's Next Top Model" (UPN), "Six Feet Under" (HBO) and "The Shield" (FX). Currently, Leticia lives in Los Angeles where she is developing new talent with songwriter/producer Javier Ceja and Jeeve Ducornet.
