Mundo Aparte

On their full length self titled debut the Los Angeles based rock band Mundo Aparte delivers a sizzling collection of songs that combine raw powerful guitars with hard hitting drums and beautifully melodic vocals. Their influences range from classic rock to modern influences such as punk and alternative while not forgetting their Latin musical roots. Their songs are written and performed in Spanish and speak to a generation of youth filled with angst, uncertainty and hope. The band explores a diverse range of topics on their first full-length release. From suicide (“Miseria”) and drug addiction (“Adicto”) to the despair and heartache of love gone bad (“Mirame” and “Por Favor”), lead singer Corina delivers each lyric with total conviction. The members of Mundo Aparte are continually working hard to bring their music to an ever larger audience.  “There is so much more we hope to accomplish,” remarks Corina.  “This new album is just the beginning of our story.”
