Music does not belong to us, we belong to music

About Me

SAHUA: Sounds and rhythms that were born and spiraled out of concerns and cries of underground L.A. Out of the cultural and social movements that followed the uprisings of the early nineties in which members of the band were active performing and organizing. Interchanging styles of music and empowering independent artists like themselves. Having experienced the turbulent and explosive Punk and hardcore movement of the early Eighties, they were influenced enough by Punk to form bands throughout the mid 80's and well enough into the complete 90's. Now, using all their talent and musical strength are pushing this Clash-like group to reconstruct rhythms that were born out of blues/reggae, Mexican/African progressions and blending them into their own style of grassroots progressive Punk rock. Right now we are promoting our first release Ep "Arm A Ghetto" A five song cd that was supposed to be ready five years ago but is now arming us musically with the help of our surrounding friends and band families. You can read more on Arm A Ghetto if you go into our blogs. This Sept we go back into the studio to record our first full length album...............Cheers.
